Your information across Doorbrief services
Who we are
Doorbrief is operated by DinoBytes LLC. This policy describes the proposed email waitlist, Companion SMS and managed email services. Services are available only when enabled for your account. Contact support@doorbrief.co with privacy questions.
Information you provide
The waitlist collects your email, state and email consent. Product services process account and workspace details, contact information, property tasks, messages, attachments, delivery records and communication preferences. SMS enrollment also records your phone number, consent wording and version, time, source and opt-out status. State on the waitlist measures interest, not availability.
Companion SMS
Doorbrief uses information you choose to share to organize tasks and send you requested summaries, suggested wording and follow-up reminders. It does not read your personal text inbox automatically. Forward or upload only information you are authorized to share. Providing a tenant or vendor phone number does not enroll that person in Doorbrief SMS.
Managed email
When enabled and authorized by a workspace, Doorbrief sends and receives property-related emails, routes replies and attachments to the appropriate workspace and task, and supports configured reminders and follow-ups. Relevant email content is visible to authorized workspace members and intended recipients. Email recipients are not automatically enrolled in Doorbrief marketing or SMS.
How information is used and shared
We use service information to deliver and secure Doorbrief, provide support, maintain communication preferences and meet legal obligations. Authorized hosting, email, messaging and AI processing providers may process the information needed for those functions. AI processing supports summaries, suggested replies and configured workflows; it is not permission to disclose an entire workspace to unrelated recipients.
Mobile information and SMS consent
We do not sell or share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional use. SMS opt-in records and consent are excluded from unrelated sharing and are used only to operate the messaging program, including necessary processing by delivery providers. Workspace email sharing does not grant access to another user's SMS consent records.
Your choices
Waitlist and launch emails have their own email consent and withdrawal process. Contact support@doorbrief.co to withdraw or request deletion; resubmitting the waitlist does not reverse an opt-out. For an enabled SMS program, reply STOP to its number to stop program messages or HELP for help. SMS opt-out and email preferences are separate; neither is silently reset by the other. Contact the identified workspace sender or Doorbrief support about managed email preferences.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, meet applicable obligations and honor suppression. Deletion requests require appropriate verification; limited suppression and required records may remain, and backup deletion may not be immediate. We restrict access to authorized people and service providers. Contact support@doorbrief.co to ask about retention or request deletion of your information.
